Often I want to look at the contents of a tar file before exploding it, incase it wants to explode everything into the current directory.

So I should use tar -tf filename, where -t is the --list shortcut.

Giving the Solarized color scheme a try in my terminal and vim. Light version is too light for me and both of them don't feel like they have enough contrast overall. Will see if I hate it by the end of the day.

I'm reading through Jekyll's source code to figure out how Generators work and am learning a lot!

Collecting and organizing some notes as I go through the code. Wonder if it would've been more interesting to have logged it live here. Maybe I'll try that next time. Could've even made for an interesting screencast.
